Linda M. Sheppard Peer-to-Peer Math Education Fund

Fund established to support peer-to-peer education in math and statistics classes serving primarily non-math majors, with a preference for Supplemental Instruction for lower-level math classes. Fund established to award a currently enrolled/continuing junior or senior student with a declared major in Wildlife at Cal Poly Humboldt with preference given to students who demonstrate professional promise, are active in extracurricular activities, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Lost Coast Ventures Internship Fund

Your gift to the Lost Coast Ventures Internship fund provides assistance to Cal Poly Humboldt students pursuing internships in entrepreneurial initiatives facilitated by Lost Coast Ventures. Student internships with Lost Coast Ventures will focus on projects in various fields, prioritizing those in engineering, marine biology, aquaculture, computer information systems, data science, water and energy, specialty agriculture, environmental sciences, and manufacturing.

Mad River Community Hospital Volunteers Nursing Scholarship Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Mad River Community Hospital Volunteers Nursing Scholarship, which awards Cal Poly Humboldt Nursing students participating in the RN-BSN Program who are in good academic standing according to the standards of the University. Preference is given to students who have graduated from a high school in Humboldt County, earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from College of the Redwoods, or who are committed to living and working in the Humboldt County Region after graduation and who have financial need. Typical amount is $1,000. College of Professional Studies (CPS)
