Maris D. Benson Beginning Sculpture Award

Fund established to award Cal Poly Humboldt matriculating students (full-time or part-time) pursuing any major. Must be enrolled in or have completed a beginning sculpture class during the year of the award. College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (CAHSS)

Maris D. Benson Beginning Sculpture Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Maris D. Benson Beginning Sculpture Award Fund, which awards Cal Poly Humboldt matriculating students (full-time or part-time) pursuing any major. Must be enrolled in or have completed a beginning sculpture class during the year of the award. College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (CAHSS)

Marisol Cortes-Rincon Archaeology Fund

Your gift to this fund will support student work/study associated with archaeology-related work/study at Cal Poly Humboldt's archaeology programs, focusing on supporting fieldwork. This could include funds used for student travel to sites, conferences, workshops, competitions, and other events related to student academic careers. The scope of funding includes but is not limited to wages, registration fees, transportation, lodging, and other associated costs of those events. (CAHSS)

Marisol Cortes-Rincon Endowment

Endowment established to support the Marisol Cortes-Rincon Archaeology Fund. This fund provides student work/study associated with archaeology-related work/study at Cal Poly Humboldt's archaeology programs, focusing on supporting fieldwork. This could include funds used for student travel to sites, conferences, workshops, competitions, and other events related to student academic careers. The scope of funding includes, but is not limited to, wages, registration fees, transportation, lodging, and other associated costs of those events. (CAHSS)

Mark B. Rhea Natural Resources Interpretation Scholarship Endowment

Endowment established in honor of Mark B. Rhea, a professor emeritus of soils and a retired chair of the Department of Natural Resources Planning and Interpretation at Cal Poly Humboldt, to provide ongoing financial support for the Mark B. Rhea Natural Resources Interpretation Scholarship, which awards upper division students or graduate students who are pursuing a baccalaureate or master’s degree (or option) with a major in the field of Environmental Education or Natural Resources Interpretation (or their successor degrees) If none, then it may be awarded to students with a major in other areas of environmental science management, including Natural Resources Recreation. Must have demonstrated interest in subject and willingness to participate in learning opportunities under direction of faculty member. College of Natural Resources & Sciences (CNRS)

Preference is given to students who demonstrate professional promise, are active in extracurricular activities, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
