Jerry Partain Forestry Scholarship

Fund established to award students who are continuing undergraduate Forestry majors that have completed a minimum of 36 units at Cal Poly Humboldt and at least 12 units in Cal Poly Humboldt Forestry courses. Must be eligible for financial aid, have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, and demonstrate current involvement in extracurricular activities, both academic and civic-related (e.g., Forestry Club, campus organizations, student government, service organizations, and community volunteer organizations). Jim and Jo Ann Hunt Scholarship

Fund established to award student-athletes who are members of the Cal Poly Humboldt men's and women's cross country and track & field teams. Must at least meet the minimum good academic standing requirements established by Cal Poly Humboldt and the National Collegiate Academic Association (NCAA). Athletics

Jim and Jo Ann Hunt Scholarship Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Jim and Jo Ann Hunt Scholarship, which awards student-athletes who are members of the Cal Poly Humboldt men's and women's cross country and track & field teams. Joan Berman Professional Development Fund

Fund established to provide professional development opportunities to non-tenured faculty and staff of the Cal Poly Humboldt Library. This may include covering airfare, surface transportation, registration, supplies, and meals to attend library related professional development events. It may also cover costs to bring speakers to provide professional development at Cal Poly Humboldt, including travel reimbursement and/or a speaking fee.

Joan Boynton Frakes Memorial Scholarship

Fund established to award students who are pursuing a degree in education, with an emphasis on secondary education (grades 6 - 12), have good academic standing and demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to students admitted to the Secondary Education Credential Program. College of Professional Studies (CPS)

Joan Boynton Frakes Memorial Scholarship Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Joan Boynton Frakes Memorial Scholarship, which awards students who are pursuing a degree in education, with an emphasis on secondary education (grades 6 - 12), have good academic standing, and demonstrate financial need. Fund established to award a minimum of $1,000 annually to a student majoring in Environmental Resources Engineering, Environmental Science & Management, Environmental Studies, Rangeland Resource Science, or related/future environmental majors who are in good academic standing and demonstrate financial need. Preference given to students registered for services with the Cal Poly Humboldt Student Disabilities Resource Center. College of Natural Resources & Sciences (CNRS)

Joe & Helen Bottino Memorial Travel Award Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Joe & Helen Bottino Memorial Travel Award Endowment, which awards students who are simultaneously pursuing a major or minor in a language offered by the Cal Poly Humboldt Department of World Languages & Cultures (or its successor) and pursuing a major or minor in a STEM related field. Must have minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA and applied to Financial Aid, Sponsored Programs, summer Cal Poly Humboldt sanctioned travel program, or professional conference related to major/minor. Preference for first-time experience with academic program abroad, as determined by the World Languages & Cultures department. College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (CAHSS)

John and Ethelyn Pauley Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the John and Ethelyn Pauley Scholarship, which awards a graduate student pursuing a Theatre Arts degree who shows creative potential and innovative ability in theatre arts. Recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student for each semester. College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (CAHSS)

Johnston - Aronoff History Scholarship Endowment

Endowment established by Guy Aronoff, a lecturer in Cal Poly Humboldt's History department, and his wife, Judy Johnston, to provide ongoing financial support for the Johnston-Aronoff History scholarship, which awards a junior or senior History student, preferably with an emphasis in the study of California and/ or the western United States. First preference is to a Native American student who has graduated from either a Humboldt County charter or high school, but is not limited to students who meet those preferences.
