Johnston - Aronoff History Scholarship Endowment

Endowment established by Guy Aronoff, a lecturer in Cal Poly Humboldt's History department, and his wife, Judy Johnston, to provide ongoing financial support for the Johnston-Aronoff History scholarship, which awards a junior or senior History student, preferably with an emphasis in the study of California and/ or the western United States. First preference is to a Native American student who has graduated from either a Humboldt County charter or high school, but is not limited to students who meet those preferences. Johnston-Aronoff History Scholarship

Fund established to award a junior or senior History student, preferably with an emphasis in the study of California and/ or the western United States. First preference is to a Native American student who has graduated from either a Humboldt County charter or high school, but is not limited to students who meet those preferences. Jones Family Athletic Scholarship

Fund established to support female student-athletes on the Humboldt campus, specifically those in the varsity sport of Softball. Athletics

Joseph & Barbara Bania Awards Fund

Fund established to provide two awards to Fisheries Biology graduate students--one via the Joseph Bania Award and the other via the Barbara Bania Award—who engage in research studies of field-based understandings of the links between freshwater and anadromous fishes and the habitats upon which they depend. Preferred research topics include, but are not limited to, research on impacts brought about by watershed degradation, exotic species, introductions, and pollution. Further preference is given to students working on projects in Norther California and those projects focused upon steelhead, salmon, trout, shad and striped bass. Fund established to award a full-time student enrolled in a course of study toward a baccalaureate degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, or Art with an emphasis in Photography, or a Secondary Education Credential. Must be in good academic standing, demonstrate financial need, and have a grade point average not to exceed 3.3. Financial Aid (FA)

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Julia A. Potts Memorial Scholarship, which awards a full-time student enrolled in a course of study toward a baccalaureate degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, or Art with an emphasis in Photography, or a Secondary Education Credential.
