Robin M. Smith Athletic Facilities Special Opportunities Fund

Fund established for necessary improvements to Cal Poly Humboldt's intercollegiate Athletics & Recreational Sports facilities. Priority is given to equipment and improvements for the Athletics Training Center, weight room/strength training area, and the Student Recreation Center. Athletics

Robin M. Smith Club Sports Special Opportunities Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Robin M. Smith Club Sports Special Opportunities Fund, which assists students with the costs and commitments related to their participation in Club Sports at Cal Poly Humboldt. All of Cal Poly Humboldt's Club Sports are eligible for these funds. All Club Sports will each receive $1,000 annually, at the beginning of the Fall Semester. Athletics

Fund established to award Nursing students who maintain a 3.0 or better cumulative GPA. Preference is for students to be in their second year of the program and those that have received it the prior year. College of Professional Studies (CPS)

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Robin M. Smith Nursing Scholarship Fund, which awards Nursing students who maintain a 3.0 or better cumulative GPA. Roelofs Humboldt Fisheries Award

Fund established to support full-time graduate students pursuing an advanced degree in the Natural Resources, Fisheries program at Cal Poly Humboldt who are in good academic standing. Preference is for students with 3.0 GPA or higher focusing on fisheries conservation and enhancement research that applies to or is in North Coast watersheds and adjacent marine waters. Rohde Internship Fund

Fund established to support Cal Poly Humboldt Library internship opportunities for working in Special Collections and Cal Poly Humboldt Press.

Roscoe-Schenler Engineering Award

Fund established to honor two former Cal Poly Humboldt Engineering professors--Jim Roscoe and Bill Schenler--by recognizing one or two Sophomore/Junior students for outstanding potential in Environmental Resources Engineering (ERE). College of Natural Resources & Sciences (CNRS)

Schapiro Family Music Scholarship Fund

Fund is to award students who are pursuing a degree in Music with preference for those studying strings, piano or voice and who are in good academic standing. College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (CAHSS)

Schapiro School of Applied Health Equipment Fund

Fund established to support specialized equipment needs (for use in research, classroom assignments, and/or lab work) of all departments falling within the School of Applied Health. Kinesiology & Recreation Administration; College of Professional Studies (CPS)

Schatz Energy Fellowship for Graduate Studies

Fund established to award a student pursuing the Environmental Resources Engineering (ERE) or International Development Technology (IDT) options of the Environmental Systems graduate program at HSU with minimum GPA as required by that program. Must intend to focus academic studies on renewable energy efficiency related to work and commit to participating in research activities at Schatz Energy Research Center (SERC) during year of fellowship award.
