Richard Paselk Biochemistry/Biophysics Scholarship Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Paselk Biochemistry/Biophysics Scholarship, which awards students pursuing a course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree at HSU. Students must be currently engaged in an approved undergraduate research project with a Cal Poly Humboldt Chemistry faculty member. Students must be enrolled full-time, be at least a sophomore, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better in required major courses. College of Natural Resources & Sciences (CNRS)

Richard R. Rothrock Memorial Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Richard R. Rothrock Memorial Award, which is designed to defray costs typical and similar to the following student expenditures including travel for conferences, film equipment and other miscellaneous equipment and materials needed to complete special projects in the Theater, Film & Dance department. Fund established for the Richard R. Richmond Rod and Gun Club Award

Fund established to award a Fisheries Biology graduate student. Preference is given to students engaged in research studies of field-based understandings of the links between freshwater and anadromous fishes and the habitats upon which they depend. Preferred research topics include but are not limited to research on impacts brought about by watershed degradation, exotic species, introductions and pollution. Further preference is given to students working on projects in Northern California and those projects focused upon steelhead, salmon, trout, and striped bass. Rick M. Gardner Psychology Research Assistantship

Fund established to support students who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with the intention of pursuing graduate studies by providing a one-year research assistantship for each of (3) students. College of Professional Studies (CPS)

Ridenhour Fisheries Student Support Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Fisheries Biology for experiential learning opportunities at Cal Poly Humboldt and to enhance academic instruction in the classroom, laboratory, or field. Ridenhour Fisheries Student Support Fund

Fund established for undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Fisheries Biology for experiential learning opportunities at Cal Poly Humboldt and to enhance academic instruction in the classroom, laboratory, or field. College of Natural Resources & Sciences (CNRS)

River Restoration and Fish Passage Research Fund

RN to BSN Fund

Your gift to this fund will support registered nurses who already have an associate’s degree to complete their bachelor’s degree in nursing. The additional education will enable nurses to meet new hiring educational requirements some hospitals have implemented which require a BSN degree and allow them to prepare for leadership or advanced clinical training, such as nurse practitioner roles. Robert & Suzanne Wienke Scholarship

Fund established to award a junior or senior level student majoring in Environmental Resources Engineering (ERE). Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA or California Dream Act application. College of Natural Resources & Sciences (CNRS)

Robert (Bob) Cary Forestry Scholarship Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Robert (Bob) Cary Forestry Scholarship, which awards a full-time Cal Poly Humboldt student pursuing a baccalaureate or graduate degree or option in Forestry who has a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduate students and demonstrates financial need. Robert (Bob) Cary Forestry Scholarship Fund

Fund established to award a full-time Cal Poly Humboldt student pursuing a baccalaureate or graduate degree or option in Forestry who has a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduate students and demonstrates financial need. Robert E. Kelly Mentors Endowment

Endowment established in honor of Dr. Robert E. Kelly, the first Head Coach of the Men’s Soccer program at Humboldt, to provide ongoing financial support for the Robert E. Kelly Mentors Scholarship, which awards student athletes participating in the intercollegiate sport of Men’s Soccer. Student athletes must be in good academic standing per standards of the university and of Intercollegiate Athletics and demonstrate financial need.

Scholarship established in honor of Dr. Robert E.
