Herring Geography Scholarship

Fund established by Nancy and Steven Herring, Cal Poly Humboldt alumni, to award students majoring in Geography with a 2.75 or better cumulative GPA and financial need. College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (CAHSS)

Hillenburg Marine Science Research Award Fund

Fund established to provide research grant awards that support student research projects in the marine sciences (e.g., marine biology, oceanography, and marine fisheries.) The awarded funds can be used for research supplies, equipment, and services. College of Natural Resources & Sciences (CNRS)

Homer Balabanis Economics Scholarship

Fund established in recognition of the late Professor Balabanis, the first Cal Poly Humboldt economist, and his remarkable record of service, which awards an undergraduate in the Economics major who demonstrates excellent academic performance. College of Professional Studies (CPS)

Homer L. Arnold Memorial Engineering Award

Fund established in honor of former Cal Poly Humboldt Environmental Resources Engineering (ERE) professor Homer Arnold. One or two ERE students each year are recognized for demonstrated outstanding achievement in applied Environmental Resources Engineering. College of Natural Resources & Sciences (CNRS)

Homer L. Arnold Memorial Engineering Award Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Homer L. Arnold Memorial Engineering Award, which honors former Cal Poly Humboldt Environmental Resources Engineering (ERE) professor Homer Arnold and recognizes ERE students for demonstrated outstanding achievement in applied Environmental Resources Engineering. Howard Seemann Lumberjack Scholarship Fund

Fund established in memory of Howard Seemann, adviser to the University’s student newspaper, The Lumberjack, for 28 years. College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (CAHSS)

Humboldt Alumni Scholarship

Fund established to award a scholarship for full-time attendance at Cal Poly Humboldt to students who have a qualifying relationship with a Cal Poly Humboldt Alumnus(a) such as parent, grandparent, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, cousin, nephew or niece. University Advancement (UA)

Humboldt Chemistry Research Scholarship

Fund established to award an enrolled full-time student (min. 12 semester units) pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Cal Poly Humboldt who is at least sophomore class year with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better in courses required for major. Must have faculty sponsor and approved project for undergraduate chemistry research. College of Natural Resources & Sciences (CNRS)

Humboldt Chemistry Research Scholarship Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Humboldt Chemistry Research Scholarship, which awards an enrolled full-time student (min. 12 semester units) pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Cal Poly Humboldt who is at least sophomore class year with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better in courses required for major. Humboldt Dreamer Scholarship

Your gift to this fund will go toward awarding a student with documented AB540 status who is a continuing Cal Poly Humboldt student and who shows need via the California Dream Application. The Office of Financial Aid selects recipients in consultation with one or more member of the FREE (Finding Resources and Empowerment through Education) student group.

Humboldt First Scholarship

Your gift to the Humboldt First Scholarship helps North Coast students pursue a four-year degree while staying close to home. This scholarship is available to all first-time freshmen who graduate from high school in Humboldt, Del Norte, Mendocino, or Trinity counties and enroll at Cal Poly Humboldt.

Humboldt Food Policy Council

Your gift to this fund will provide general support to the Humboldt Food Policy Council.
