Fund established for the Cal Poly Humboldt Fish Collection in the Fisheries Biology department, in the form of wages and benefits for student assistants, stipends, awards, travel, office supplies, equipment (less than $5K), computer/printer (less than $5K), postage, repairs, supplies, and other support related to technical, maintenance, and development needs. Geriatric Nursing Scholarship

Fund established to award students who are majoring in Nursing at Cal Poly Humboldt, have a demonstrable interest and commitment to the field of geriatric nursing, at least a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrated financial need. College of Professional Studies (CPS)

GHD Leadership Scholarship

Fund established to award one Environmental Resources Engineering junior or senior each year for demonstrated leadership in the ERE department or through ERE sponsored clubs such as ERESA, SWE, WEB, or RESU. The individual will be selected by the ERE faculty to be recognized as a person of high technical competence who also shows leadership potential and desire to help advance the field of environmental engineering. GM Jennings Botany Award

Fund established to promote the acknowledgment and dissemination of research in the field of botany with an annual award that supports graduate student travel for the purpose of presenting research to a professional audience, or for expenses related to publishing their research. Eligible students are those pursuing a graduate degree in Biology, with a preference for those students with an area of research in botany. Go Green Fund

Fund established by the Cal Poly Humboldt Advancement Foundation board, which makes it possible for students to play a vital, hands-on role in implementing the University’s Climate Action Plan, which includes strategies to ease the campus’ ecological footprint. University Advancement (UA)

Golden Gate Angling & Casting Club Fisheries Fellowship Fund (A6898)

Fund established to support graduate students' work with professors on campus. The fellowship can include research, work at the hatchery or the Telonicher Marine Lab, and working with undergraduates alongside faculty in field courses or labs. (Fisheries, CNRS)

Golden Gate Angling and Casting Club Award

Fund established to award a Fisheries Biology graduate student. Preference is given to students engaged in research studies of field-based understandings of the links between fishes (freshwater, marine, anadromous) and the habitats upon which they depend. Preferred research topics include but are not limited to research on impacts brought about by watershed degradation, exotic species, introductions, and pollution. Further preference is given to students working on projects in Northern California and those projects focused upon steelhead, salmon, trout, striped bass, and species of conservation concern.
