Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Dan & Cindy Phillips Scholarship, which awards Southern Humboldt high school graduates who enroll at Cal Poly Humboldt either as transfer students from College of the Redwoods or as first-time freshmen. Each scholarship will be for up to $4,000. High school graduates who enroll as freshmen at Cal Poly Humboldt will receive $1,000 per year, up to four years. Those who attend College of the Redwoods and transfer to Cal Poly Humboldt will receive $2,000 per year, up to two years. A portion of the funding will also provide start-up support for a peer mentoring program.

David Phillips and Don McKenzie were the founders of this unique and long standing film festival in the Arcata community. Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for and recognition of a faculty member in the Department of Psychology at Cal Poly Humboldt. A Professorship is awarded annually. Income from the fund supports the teaching, research, and service activities of the faculty position. Professorship criteria will be for a Psychology Department Faculty member who: a) champions students, b) includes students in research and other experiential learning opportunities, and c) pursues a scholarly mission in their work and teachings. Fund established to award first-generation college students pursuing a bachelor's degree with an emphasis on environmental resources and conservation at Cal Poly Humboldt. Scholarships will be for a minimum of $1,000 annually, available for renewal up to four years total. Students must be in good academic standing per the standards of the University and must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in one of the following majors: Applied Fire Science & Management; Biology; Botany; Engineering Systems Engineering; Environmental Resources Engineering; Environmental Science & Management; Environmental Studies; Fisheries Biology; Food Systems Science (once established in 2026); Forest Engineering (once established In 2029); Forestry; and Marine Biology.
