Fund established in the name of a graduate of Cal Poly who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries in June 1975, Michael G. Scott, and Cuthbert L. Scott III, which awards an outstanding senior student in the Department of Fisheries Biology at Cal Poly Humboldt. Michael died July 6, 1987 in Ketchikan, Alaska, where he was serving as a fishery biologist with the U.S. Forest Service, assigned to Misty Fjords National Monument.
