Braden C. Hogan Memorial Scholarship Endowment
Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Braden C. Hogan Memorial Scholarship, which awards an undergraduate student with junior or senior standing in the Wildlife program who also has a GPA that generally ranges between 2.5-3.5. The student should demonstrate extracurricular involvement in one or more student and/or professional Wildlife clubs, societies, or conferences and professional promise as evidenced by volunteer and/or paid work experience in the field of Wildlife Management. Endowment established to provide ongoing revenue for the Braden Hogan Memorial Wildlife Internship Fund, which supports the Cal Poly Humboldt Department of Wildlife Internship program. Preferences are for those students who will benefit from professional development opportunities as part of the internship program, particularly for those students who are not traditionally represented in the wildlife profession, to the extent that is legally permissible. Budig-Markin Family Trust
Trust established to provide ongoing financial support for the Budig-Markin Family Francophone African Studies Award, which goes to World Languages & Cultures students a $500 minimum award to study in Francophone Africa for a minimum of an academic semester, or equivalent. C L Scott Trust
Fund established in the name of a graduate of Cal Poly who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries in June 1975, Michael G. Scott, and Cuthbert L. Scott III, which awards an outstanding senior student in the Department of Fisheries Biology at Cal Poly Humboldt. Michael died July 6, 1987 in Ketchikan, Alaska, where he was serving as a fishery biologist with the U.S. Forest Service, assigned to Misty Fjords National Monument. C.L. Scott Endowment
Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Michael G. Scott Outstanding Senior Award--named for a graduate of Cal Poly Humboldt who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries in June 1975, and Cuthbert L. Scott III—which awards an outstanding senior student in the Department of Fisheries Biology at Cal Poly Humboldt.
