Ann E. Taylor & Rich Barcelona Friendship Scholarship Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Ann E. Taylor and Rich Barcelona Friendship Scholarship, which awards a currently enrolled/continuing junior or senior student with a declared major in Wildlife at Cal Poly Humboldt. Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA. Preference is given to Junior and Senior students who demonstrate professional promise, are active in extracurricular activities, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Brad L. Smith Natural Resources and Sciences Scholarship, which supports undergraduate and graduate students within the College of Natural Resources & Sciences (CNRS) who are in good academic standing according to the standards of Cal Poly Humboldt and have financial need.

Fund established to support undergraduate and graduate students within the College of Natural Resources & Sciences (CNRS) who are in good academic standing according to the standards of Cal Poly Humboldt and have financial need.

Braden C. Hogan Memorial Scholarship

Fund established in memory of Braden C. Hogan to award an undergraduate student with junior or senior standing in the Wildlife program who also has a GPA that generally ranges between 2.5-3.5. Student should demonstrate extracurricular involvement in one or more student and/or professional Wildlife clubs, societies, or conferences, and professional promise as evidenced by volunteer and/or paid work experience in the field of Wildlife Management. Braden C. Hogan Memorial Scholarship Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Braden C. Hogan Memorial Scholarship, which awards an undergraduate student with junior or senior standing in the Wildlife program who also has a GPA that generally ranges between 2.5-3.5. Preferences are for those students who will benefit from professional development opportunities as part of the internship program, particularly for those students who are not traditionally represented in the wildlife profession, to the extent that is legally permissible. Conserving Species in a Changing Climate Endowed Internship

Endowment established to support the Conserving Species in a Changing Climate Internship which provides for expenses related to the Department of Wildlife academic and professional development including, but not limited to, supplies, travel, lodging and other living expenses, and hiring of Cal Poly Humboldt undergraduate students for internships or similar work experiences. Denis Lee Cullins Memorial Scholarship Endowment

Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Denis Lee Cullins Scholarship, which awards a full-time continuing Cal Poly Humboldt student in memory of Denis ‘Lee’ Cullins, a Wildlife major at Cal Poly Humboldt who worked for 3 1/2 years at the University Bookstore. As a seasonal firefighter he had been assigned to the Forestry department’s elite helitack force and died while fighting a wildfire near Willits, California. Financial Aid (FA)

Fund established in honor of Duane D. Eastburn and Allison B. Mallory, which awards on-campus housing scholarships for students with financial need who are in good academic standing while pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biology, Botany, Fisheries Biology, Marine Biology, Nursing, Wildlife, or Zoology at Cal Poly Humboldt. Fund established to award a full-time student pursuing an undergrad or grad degree in Natural Resources or sciences, specifically: Oceanography, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Environmental Resources Engineering (ERE), Environmental Science, Environmental Systems, Fisheries, Forestry, Geology, NRPI, Physics/Physical Science, Rangeland Resources and Wildland Soils, Watershed Management, or Wildlife Management.
