Mr. Stanley Harris was a Wildlife professor at Cal Poly Humboldt (then Humboldt State University) for 33 years who left a great legacy upon his passing at the age of 91 on Dec. 27, 2019. Stanley helped build the Cal Poly Humboldt Wildlife department to being one of the best in the country, and continued his work with the department long after his official “retirement” in 1992.
