Interconnecting communities in fire science and management
Your gift provides financial support to engage students, community members, practitioners, and others in the generation and exchange of knowledge and action related to wildland fire related issues and solutions in Northern California and beyond. The emphasis of the fund is to engage and collaborate with regional tribes and practitioners on research and monitoring projects centered on Tribal priorities and needs. These funds are also utilized to support Cal Poly Humboldt students in paid opportunities to participate in fire research projects that directly informs pressing fire and fuels management issues in the region.
