Robert Craig Waco (Dec. 14, 1970 - April 8, 2023)
Robert's enduring spirit and kind-hearted nature touched everyone who knew him. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and he always brought joy to those around him.
Robert grew up in Pacific Palisades, where he attended Corpus Christi School, served as an altar boy at Corpus Christi Church, and graduated from Palisades High School. He earned a degree in Environmental Engineering from Humboldt State University in 1994. For the next 28 years, he worked passionately, innovating in the semiconductor industry. Robert also regularly presented to school children, supporting STEAM and sharing his love for engineering. He felt a strong drive to ensure equal representation and inclusivity in the next generation of engineers.
This scholarship was established to support future engineering students at Cal Poly Humboldt in memory of Robert.
