Henri and Lanette Rousseau Scholarship

Lanette Gregory Rousseau was a native of Humboldt County and an alumna of Cal Poly Humboldt, graduating with a BA in education in 1939. Following graduation, she became a teacher and taught at Garfield School and Freshwater.  er husband, Henri, was a rancher and together they ran the Rousseau Ranch in Kneeland. For a number of years, Lanette served as the treasurer on the board of directors for the Cal Poly Humboldt Alumni Association. 

Tuttle Climate Conference Fund

In 2018, Andrea and Don Tuttle gave a gift to create two funds to support Cal Poly Humboldt students studying environmental policy or science related to climate change: the Tuttle Climate Conference Fund and the Tuttle Climate Graduate Fund. The conference fund supports attending international conferences focused on climate mitigation and adaptation. The graduate fund awards students up to $30,000 over the course of two years, in support of their graduate thesis focused on climate policy or science, with an emphasis on the land sector.
