Fund established to award first-generation college students pursuing a bachelor's degree with an emphasis on environmental resources and conservation at Cal Poly Humboldt. Scholarships will be for a minimum of $1,000 annually, available for renewal up to four years total. Students must be in good academic standing per the standards of the University and must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in one of the following majors: Applied Fire Science & Management; Biology; Botany; Engineering Systems Engineering; Environmental Resources Engineering; Environmental Science & Management; Environmental Studies; Fisheries Biology; Food Systems Science (once established in 2026); Forest Engineering (once established In 2029); Forestry; and Marine Biology.
